Activities for IC2 Lesson 6:

New word competition

Step 1: Divide students into two groups (A & B).

Step 2: Group A reads a new word from the vocabulary listing of this lesson and the first member of Group B writes the word on the board. If he/she writes correctly, the group gets one point.

Step 3: Group B finds a word from the listing and the first member of Group A writes the word on the board. Similarly, if he/she writes the word correctly, the group also wins one point.

Step 4: The two groups take turns to do so until all the members in both groups gets a chance to write on the board.

Step 5: Sum up all the points each group earns. The group with greater points wins.
