The Department of Modern Languages at Hobart and William Smith Colleges has a full-time position open unexpectedly for the 2000-2001 academic year and a one-semester replacement open for Spring 2001. The successful candidate for the full-time position will teach 5 courses in Chinese language and modern literature/culture per academic year. The successful candidate for the one semester replacement will teach two courses, one in Chinese language and one in literature/culture of his/her specialty. Discipline open but completed Ph.D. strongly preferred for both positions.
