Announcement of Visiting Assistant Professorship

August 28, 2000 - May 27, 2001

The Department of East Asian Languages and Literature invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor position in Chinese language and linguistics for the 2000-2001 academic year. Applicants for the position should possess the Ph.D or ABD in Chinese linguistics, language pedagogy or related field.

Duties of the position involve responsibility for teaching the following courses as well as supervising the Teaching Assistants in the courses listed.

Sem. I    EA 101 First Semester Chinese
             EA 201 Third Semester Chinese

Sem. II   EA 102 Second Semester Chinese
             EA 202 Fourth Semester Chinese                    
              EA 322 First Year Classical Chinese

Salary is competitive.
