Iowa State University invites applications for Adjunct Assistant Professor or Instructor of Chinese, three-year term, non tenure-track. August 15–May 15. Teach a range of undergraduate courses in Chinese language, literature, and culture for a developing curriculum in Chinese Studies. Required: Ph.D. for Assistant Professor rank, M.A. for Instructor Rank, in Chinese or other appropriate field. Near-native fluency in Mandarin and English. Evidence of successful stand-alone teaching experience in courses listed above. Preferred: Research program; experience in curriculum development; experience teaching beginners and heritage speakers.
