Lecturer in Chinese
The Department of Asian Languages and Cultures at the University of Michigan invites applications for Lecturer in Chinese. The initial appointment will be for one-year, beginning September 1, 2001, with the possibility of renewal thereafter. The appointee will teach a course in reading and writing Chinese for speakers of Chinese. An M.A. degree, native or near-native fluency in Chinese, experience in teaching Chinese, and spoken and written fluency in English are required. Applications are due April 10, 2001, but will be accepted until the position is filled.
