Position in Chinese

The Department of Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Minnesota is seeking applications for instructional staff to teach language courses in the following areas: Chinese, Hmong, Japanese, Hindi and/or Korean. These positions, if filled, are for courses taught on a semester basis for day and/or night offerings in the College of Liberal Arts. There might also be an opportunity to teach in Summer Session 2002. Appointments would begin in late August 2001. They are temporary full- or part-time appointments, and could be for one semester or two, and there is a possibility of annual renewal depending on need, funding and performance.
