LECTURER IN CHINESE

The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures at University of California, Los Angeles announces the search for a Lecturer in Chinese to begin Fall 2001. Applicants must have native fluency in standard Chinese (Putonghua) and a minimum of three years of Chinese language teaching in an American university setting. Preference is given to applicants who have demonstrated exceptional teaching achievement at all levels of Chinese language instruction, and with both heritage and non-heritage learners of Chinese. Salary will depend on qualifications and experience.
