Lecturer Position in Chinese
The Department of Languages and Literatures at Arizona State University seeks applicants for a full-time lecturer position in Chinese, to begin in August, 2002. The position, which will be renewable depending on performance and funding, is for an instructor of the Chinese common language ("Mandarin") at the first- through third-year levels. The applicant must have native or near-native knowledge of modern Chinese and English, have proven experience as an effective language teacher, and hold an MA degree in a related field. Desired specializations: Chinese literature, linguistics, or language pedagogy.
