Visiting Assistant Professor

Bucknell University’s Department of East Asian Studies invites applications for a one year replacement position as a Visiting Assistant Professor of Chinese Language for the 2002–03 academic year. Responsibilities will require the teaching of three levels of Chinese each term, with the help of at least one teaching assistant. Language teaching experience, especially with good knowledge of the GR romanization system and Chinese Primer, for first year, highly favored. Candidates must have good English and native or near-native command of Chinese (Puutonghuah), with standard pronunciation.
