Visiting Assistant Professor

The Department of Asian & African Languages & Literature at Duke University seeks applicants for a one-year replacement position in Chinese at the level of Visiting Assistant Professor, beginning August, 2002. Qualifications are ABD or Ph.D. in Chinese or related field with native or near native proficiency in Chinese and excellent command of English. Responsibilities include teaching two courses in fourth year Chinese and two courses in Chinese literature and culture over two fifteen-week semesters.
