Chinese Instructor
The Department of African and Asian Languages and Literatures, University of Florida, invites applications for a full-time Chinese Instructor. This annually renewable position, to begin August 2002, is part of the university's planned expansion of Asian Studies. Minimal credentials: MA in Chinese, language pedagogy, or related field; native/near-native fluency in standard Chinese and English. Preference for U.S. college-level experience in teaching both heritage and non-heritage students. Familiarity with instructional technology and placement testing also a plus.
