Position in Chinese Language
The Department of East Asian Languages and Cultures, Georgetown University invites applications for a new three-year full-time position in Chinese Language beginning Fall, 2002. This is a teaching intensive non-tenure position with the possibility of renewal pending funding. Candidates are expected to have at least a Master’s degree in Chinese language and prior teaching experience; also native or near native proficiency in Chinese to teach introductory, intermediate and advanced level language courses, including courses for heritage learners and Business Chinese. Interviews will be held at the national meeting of the Chinese Language Teachers’ Association in Washington, D.C.
