Instructor Position in Chinese
The Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at the College of William and Mary seeks applicants for a full-time instructor position in Chinese to begin in August, 2002. The position will be renewable up to five years depending on the performance of the successful candidate. The applicant must have an MA in Chinese language pedagogy, linguistics or literature and possess near-native fluency in both Chinese and English. Preference will be given to applicants who have prior experience of teaching Chinese at American or Canadian institutions and can demonstrate success at teaching beginning levels. Familiarity with instructional technology is highly desirable.
