The Chinese Program at Davidson College invites applications for a tenure-track position in Modern Chinese Language and Classical Chinese Literature at the Assistant Professor level beginning August 1, 2003. Teaching load, five courses; competitive salary. Qualifications include: native or near-native fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English, Ph.D. (in hand or expected by August 1, 2003) in Chinese or related field and evidence of excellence in undergraduate teaching.
