Modern or Contemporary Chinese Literature

Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for a tenure-track appointment as Assistant Professor in Modern or Contemporary Chinese Literature. Applicants trained in close textual analysis and in wider cultural or transnational contexts preferred. Applicants should hold the doctorate at the time of appointment. The teaching load is four courses per year, to include undergraduate and graduate culture and literature courses using texts in Chinese or in translation.
