Qualifications: Native PRC Chinese speaker with excellent written English ability. Previous translation experience is absolutely essential, and print media experience will be a real plus. Should be reasonably familiar with economic and political developments inside the PRC. Able to handle prompt bi-directional translation of Chinese and English news stories, working against tight deadlines. Must be very familiar with MS-WORD (English and Chinese) and Chinese-language software.

Job Description: Prompt translation of Chinese news stories and industry reports into English on a daily basis. On-screen editing of Chinese and English text. Check translation quality. Fact check translated articles. May also assign and track documents for outside translators.
