Two positions
I. Sabbatical replacement position at Assistant Professor level for the academic year 2001-2002. Ph.D., or evidence of imminent completion, required. Salary competitive and consistent with level of experience. Native or near-native capability in Chinese language and experience in teaching American college students essential, ability and willingness to supervise student co-curricular activities desirable. Kalamazoo College is a highly selective nationally known liberal arts college offering an integrated undergraduate experience that weaves a traditional liberal arts curriculum into educational experiences in both domestic and international settings. II. Chinese Language Instructor for the Spring Quarter (March 26 to June 7, 2001) of the academic year, 2000-2001. In additional to the full-time position listed in the preceding for next academic year, Kalamazoo College is also looking for a part-time Chinese language instructor to teach one language course for the Spring quarter of this academic year. Chinese language competence is essential and teaching experience desirable.
