Lectors in Chinese

The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures announces a search to appoint one or more Lectors in Chinese, effective July 1, 2001. Appointee(s) will contribute to teaching beginning, intermediate or advanced language courses for both heritage and non-heritage learners. Appointments as Lector are for terms of one year, renewable upon review. Applicants must have training and experience in Chinese language teaching in a North American or comparable college or university setting. A Master's degree in a relevant field and familiarity with technology-based language teaching are preferred. Yale University is an affirmative action, equal opportunity employer.
