Drew University, a selective liberal arts college in New York Metropolitan area invites, pending budgetary approval, applications for tenure-track assistant professor in Chinese language (beginning through intermediate courses plus advanced study) and culture (literature, fine and/or decorative arts, film, one course per year) to join growing Asian Studies Program beginning mid-August 2001. 5 courses per year + independent studies. Ph. D. preferred; expectations are for highly motivated, erudite individual with excellent fluency in both Mandarin and English.
