One-year Leave Replacement Position
The Asian Studies Program invites applications for a one-year leave replacement position (at the assistant professor or instructor level) in Chinese language for the 2002-2003 academic year. The incumbent will teach first- and second-year Mandarin each semester. Native or near native fluency in Mandarin, an M.A. or Ph.D. in a relevant field (such as literature, language pedagogy, or linguistics), language teaching experience, and interest in basic language instruction required.
