Asian Languages

The Department of Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Minnesota is seeking applications for Teaching Specialists or Lecturers to teach language courses in the following areas: Chinese, Hindi/Urdu, Beginning and Accelerated Hmong, or Japanese. These positions, if filled, are for day or night courses taught on a semester basis in the College of Liberal Arts. There might also be an opportunity to teach in Summer Session 2003. Academic year appointments would begin in late August 2002. These appointments are full- or part-time, for one semester or two, and renewable annually depending on need, funding and performance.
