The Department of Asian Studies at Cornell University invites applications for the position of Director/Senior lecturer of the Full-year Asian Language CONcentration (FALCON) in Mandarin Chinese to begin July 1, 2000. Renewal is based on merit and contingent uponprogram funding. Desired candidates must possess near native level competency in Chinese and English, Chinese language program administration experience, ability to teach all levels of Chinese language, outstanding student recruiting and advising skills, and an MA in a relevant field of Chinese studies. Salary is commensurate with experience.
